It's my first blog in which I would like to write about "My Journey in Education".
I believe that George Orwell has rightly said in his lines that-
"If people cannot write well, they cannot think well,
and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them".
This quote motivate me to think wisely and help me to take wise decisions always.
I am the youngest one in my family and usually have the more larger portion of love and care from my siblings and parents. I was not a good student and high scorer till class 5th. After class 5th, I got some ups and down in my life that made me a responsible one. It was so gradual. Each time I got new challenges in my life. Sometimes, It felt little bit burdensome and sometimes, I took it positively to conquer those short obstacles. From that time , I thought that I have to do something good in academics first and then I will move ahead with my passion of music, art and asthetics .Teaching is the only field in which I can continuously explore myself and transform myself within inner self.
I have taken commerce stream after my class 10th. There were some pressure to take science stream but I did what my parents desired for me. Each time, I found my parents standing in support for me so that will never loose my confidence to achieve what I want to be in life. I think, my parents are successful in imbibing the good moral values and conscience in me to secure my identity and self concept. It's true that I never went against to my parents' decision because I have a belief in them that they have more experience than me.
After my schooling, I took admission in Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi.
I was so scared and felt very uneasy because this time I have to walk alone in the streets of Delhi for the first time, where no elder one is there to take care of me. After spending 6 years of my life in hostel, It has taken some time to walk alone and how to cross the busy roads. I make new friends and enjoyed a lot. Especially, when I have joined the "Timbre Music society". I learnt new ragas in classical music, got to know about taal and taan. I also have participated in various competitions and won prizes too.
In the year 2020, the college were closed due to pandemic which let almost all the college activities in dormant position. At first, I was so much amused by the fact that nobody will come out of their house and each one will spend more time with their family members. I usually think that is one of my dream which came to be true in this way. It really very funny to say. After extension of such lockdowns felt no more pleasure because being a part of middle class family, we were earning very less and our expenses are more. This has grew crisis in the home.
But somehow those days were passed with lots of sacrifices.
My father use to say, If you have the desire to achieve your aim then never stop learning. I took admission in School of Open learning (SOL), DU for my M.Com.
That was a very tough decision as we do not have money but I started to think to earn. I have work in a small firm for about 6 months. That was the legal firm where I have to maintain records in computerised form. They are not given much so I left that job. I tried to join some school but again It was not enough to chase my dreams. Finally I decided to do some professional course after my masters and took admission in B.Ed course in the year 2023 in Maharishi Valmiki College of Education. Currently, I am engaged in there and till now the only problem I am facing is the travel, cost and time factor. I took 2 hours to reach the college which is really very tiring because I am spending 4 to 4.5 hours daily in travelling.
Last but not least, I am inquisitive about my life's happening in each face with a positive note that we should think about our own life what we want to be, and where we want to see ourselves in the life.
